Spring. A season of love… and war! This semester, each member aligned themselves with a house bearing its own colors and insignia, in mimicry of the Sengoku (Warring States) period of Japan. Naturally, an Emperor and Shogun cards were also created.

Club has caught Love Live: School Idol Festival fever, and so we designed a member card that’s similarly down with the sickness. Officer cards were given an additional sparkle because of their relative rarity.

With the Kantai Collection anime, members felt the wave of the Kanmusu fandom crash into club. In-between sorties, we designed a batch of custom cards that included a ship-girl by default.

Following a rebranding effort headed by P-Shinobi of Boomslank, we opted to make this semester’s design simple and clean, the way that we feel tonight. The ura-side depicts Wolf Children, our feature film at the first meeting.

When Trigger saved anime, we put together a pair of Sank and Junk cards to commemorate their top notch animated storytelling [sic]. The wash symbols on the back of each card indicate that you should only ever iron them, if even that.
