So, we don’t really have an event this week, but, after Maid CafĂ© and Halloween, we could use a break. So, what we’re doing this week is letting you tell us what we’ve screwed up so far. We’ll be having our discussion day, where you give us feedback on what we did good and bad. We’ll still have games and anime and whatnot, so even if you have no criticisms or praise, you’re not forced to. This is a great time to start thinking about officer positions, everyone. You’ll have your chance to talk to the current officer board and see what you’d like to run for. And a few announcements, at the top of the screen you’ll see a link to our Lobo Brawl 4 Rule Sets, posted by David. And remember to pay off your Anime Los Angeles money as soon as possible! We’re always looking for more drivers to ALA, if you’re willing. Also, we have a pretty interesting lineup of anime. List after the jump.
C: The Money of Soul and Possibly Control
The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved, and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant. Kimimaro, raised by his maternal grandmother after the disappearance of his father and the death of his mother, is a scholarship student whose only dream is to avoid all this and live a stable life. One day, however, he meets a man who offers him a large sum of money if he’ll agree to pay it back. From then on his fate is radically altered as he’s drawn into a mysterious realm known as “The Financial District.”
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
It’s been one year since the failure of the Black Rebellion and the supposed death of Zero. Britannia has assigned Area 11 a “correctional education” status, where Elevens are made an example of by brute force, to try to prevent any future uprisings and suppress rebellious thoughts. Unsuspecting high school student Lelouch, oblivious to his rebellious past as Zero, stumbles upon a scheme on his life and the life of a mysterious woman known as C.C., who reveals to him his forgotten purpose and his “true” self. Destroying his assailants and declaring himself Zero once again, Lelouch sets out to finish what he started.
C3
Haruaki Yachi is a high school student living alone in an old solitary home. When he wakes to a suspicious sound in his kitchen, he finds… a naked rice thief. The woman calls herself “Fear” and claims to be a cursed tool who has come Yachi’s home to remove her curse. Since he’s affected by the curse, Fear ends up moving in with Haruaki, and that’s where the story begins. A wide variety of organizations are out to worship, study, or even destroy this cursed tool, however–, so it’s up to Haruaki and his neighbors Konoha and Kuroe, to fight them and defend Fear, who is no slouch herself. Lots of action (and some occasional fan service) ensues!
