In preparation for the new semester, I’m gonna be adding some new content and updating some old. By the end of it, you should have a good idea of where Club stands, and where we stand to take it for the upcoming Fall and beyond. To whet your appetite, I’ll allude to a brand-new forum, a new meeting structure, the rollout of our Anime Library, and the advent of weekly Club Activites that aren’t just screenings.
In the meantime, I’ve got a small update. The banner’s been changed to give the site a nice, Fall ‘09 feel, and the Officer’s section has been updated to include a questionnaire. So if you want all the jucy details, head on over to the Officers Page… photographic evidence upcoming. Heh.
Let me know in the comments what you think about these changes as they progress, and what you think we should prioritize as a club. Remember… we do it all for you guys!

I like the new banner. I hope more updates continue from your end.Of course I have and idea of an library. Since Anime costs more than Crack, if any one brings a few titles into the library that are not duplicates. Then this club, from seeing other members collections, would be something that even Bust Buy would admire. I have a few that just sit there, ready for action.
The pictures of the members should have their names (willingly of course.) attached to the photos. Like Mine with Harubi from Fanime, and the ones coming from SWACE.
More club activities that don’t revolve just around showings. Like workshops, Q&A’s about certain topics, and some other active things like specific series fan groups. Involvement with the local cosplay and other like minded groups. I did not know this website existed before, the NM Cosplay forums, or some other groups. The SWACE made me realize that there are more than the UNM Anime Club that have the same interests and need to talk to them.
That is all I can think of at this time. Still, I like that Banner!

Just it’s wet not whet. And there are missing “do”’s in the Questionnaire sections for officers, i.e. “What do you (do) as part of Anime Club”. I really do hang out with Devon to much.
But ya, as Cadha said, pictures and or caricatures (I’m looking at you Erica, I still need reference photos) would be nice in the Officers section so people will know you even if you don’t know them.

Actually, Yama, ‘whet’ is one of my favorite Scrabble plays. A dictionary might whet your new-found interest in homonyms.
I’m glad for the positive reaction to the banner, and I’ll endeavor to incorporate everyone’s suggestions. Captions should be easy enough to accomplish, and officer photos are upcoming.
