Sorry about that, too. I was partying a bit too hard, except since I don’t drink or anything, all we really did was watch movies and climb trees- but they were good movies, and very climbable trees! Hey, it’s more fun than it sounds. Besides, I’ll take any chance to hang out with my best friend.

This Saturday, Sam Goody in Coronado Mall is hosting an anime spectacular. Chief among reasons to stop by is their Buy 1, Get 1 Half-Off sale on everything anime-related–dvds, manga, wallscrolls, plushies… even Pocky!
In addition, there’ll be a Cosplay Contest at 3:00pm, Anime Trivia at 4:00pm, and a Raffle at 5:00pm! Throughout the day, they’re expecting to hand out over $500 worth of prizes! Exciting, I know!
Anime Club will still take place as per usual, but if you’d like a change of pace, definitely go check it out!
Well, Club, it’s a new year and a new semester, and we’ve got new Anime Club stuff to cover, so let’s get right to the meat of it all:
Club meeting times have been changed to 4:00pm to 8:00pm. This is in responce to room scheduling issues with the Student Unio Bldg, but the shortening of times should serve to strengethen our meeting attendance. Note that our schedule of anime will begin promptly at 4:00pm, so be sure to show up a little bit beforehand to grab some food at Sonic and sign in!
We’ll be meeting in Acoma A/B and Isleta this Saturday! Yes, our first meeting of the semester is just a day away!!! Get excited, ’cause we’ve got a plump offering of anime and video games and fun stuff for the semester (detailed after the link). Oh, and make sure you’re around during intermission–cause the Club officers will be (re-)introduicing themselves, discussing events, and making some big announcements!
