Due to some scheduling oversights (that I just now became aware of), there’s no one to staff the SUB projector for tonight’s planned showing of A Girl Who Leapt Through Time. So we can’t screen it. I apologize to those of who planned to attend… but rest assured, we’ll make good on our promise to screen the movie, but we won’t be able to until at least next semester. ><
We’ll still have our regualar programming tomorrow, and the Brawl tournament, so come and take a break from studying! It’ll be our last meeting for the semester, so enjoy!

So I know you totally miss our newly-stapled president, but this is Cubone reporting back before finals officially beat us down (Justin seems to be crushed in the pre-fight, so I am dutifully posting and hiding from my real responsibilities. Darn you essay!). Now I’m sure everyone is totally excited for the screening of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time tonight at 7:00 pm in the SUB theatre, amirite? I better be right! We do it all for you folks…
Speaking of excitement, Lobo Brawl is this saturday, and I’m sure you all are dying with antici…pation. It’s gonna be freaking amazing, so even if you don’t play, you can totally come watch Pikachus and Ikes and Kirbys fight to the death- we totally don’t mind gawkers. All the rules and whatnot are posted in an earlier post. If your too lazy to read that, just be in Lobo A/B at 12 with 5 bucks for reg, mmk? Do it!

With much apologies for the delay in announcement, UNM Anime Club is proud to present it’s next Super Smash Bros. Tournament, Lobo Brawl!
Here’s all you need to know:
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl Solo (1v1) and Team (2v2) Tournament; semi-competitive.
- Held Saturday December 13th in Lobo A/B; 3rd Floor of the UNM Student Union Bldg.
- Registration for both brackets begins at 12:00 pm.
- Team Matches start at 1:00 pm; Solo Matches will begin after the Team Bracket finals.
- Entry fee is $5.00 per player, $10.00 per team.
- Prizes (VISA Gift Cards) will be awarded to the top 3 teams and the top 3 solo players.
Solo Bracket Rules:
- 3 Stock Match Play
- 8 Minute Time Limit
- Items set to Off and None
- Double-Elimination, Best 2 out of 3 for qualifiers; Best 3 out of 5 for finals
Team Bracket Rules:
- 3 Stock Match Play
- 8 Minute Time Limit
- Items set to Off and None
- Double-Elimination, Best 2 out of 3 for qualifiers; Best 3 out of 5 for finals
- Life Stealing is allowed
- Team Attack set to ON
UPDATE: After due consideration, walk-off stages (Green Hill Zone and Yoshi’s Island (Pipes)) have removed from Counter-Picks and Castle Siege, Delfino, Halberd, Rainbow Cruise and Pokemon Stadium 1 have been added.

Hey, fun new thing, this isn’t Justin. Our dear, sweet Prez is busy working on the next Bad-ass Brawl Tourney, making sure you won’t be disappointed. In the meantime, this is the mysterious Cubone filling you in on what you need to know about this week’s meeting. Fantastique, no?
