Hey guys. So, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by the whole us-not-being-on-campus thing, club has been cancelled for tomorrow. Well, cancelling would have included it being scheduled in the first place, and it wasn’t, so technically, we’re not cancelling it. But in any case, don’t come tomorrow cause we won’t be there.

Things may be all quiet on the club front, but we’re on the verge of making some of our last big semester events come together. First, we’ll have T-Shirts for you guys to buy (just in time for Christmas *gasp*!); Second we’ll have a Library for you to check out anime from (just in time to catch up!); and third, we’ll have our theatre-screening of anime coming up here real quick. Needless to say, that’s a lot of queued stuff, but we’d like to get it all done ‘fore the semester is up so that we can get some new events lined up for the next one!
This weekend’s meeting will be fairly run-of-the-mill, with a similar schedule to last weekend’s. Only difference is the addition of some more screenings! Check the schedule after the link to see what that’s all about:

You might also want to edit your password into something that’s more memorable than the string of letters and numbers that it gives you. If you lose (or have lost) your password, contact me with your username and I can reset it for you.

Hey Club kids!
This weekend we’ll be viewing our screenings, playing our games, and working on the collaborative comic as usual. I’ll be leading an idea session (with regard to plans for the rest of this semester and next) before the showings get underway, and during intermission we’ll have the Anime presentation that was slated for last weekend. Be there!

Yes. This weekend we’ll be back to our old Anime Club digs, where we’ll live out the rest of this semester’s meetings. So if anyone’s at all confused at all our room changes, rest assured that we’ll stay consistent for the next month and some. 
Re: the schedule, we’ll be continuing Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid in Fumoffu’s stead. For those of you who saw this past weekend’s screening of Second Raid Vol. 1, please thank Funimation by taking this online survey (use my name for Q1, Justin Brough). Remember, it’s thanks to them that we had the DVD and the permissions to show you the episodes!

It feels as though it’s been forever since we had a regular ‘ol meeting. Maybe that’s because it has been. Between Fall Break, the room change, and the Halloween Party, we seem to have deviated from the good and the familiar. This weekend will mark a return to Anime Club form.
Oh and just to remind people: You’ll now have to register and log in with the site to vote on the weekly screening polls. This is in response to the concern that people could cheat their show into the schedule by voting as a guest multiple times. So for next week’s ballot, keep that in mind.
As for this weekend… we’ll be in Trail/Spirit and Luminaria with anime and games as per usual. Among the special stuff will be a continuation of our Club Comic project, a preview of some of this season’s new anime, and some discussion/idea forming for our Anime Club T-Shirts. Hey club! Thanks to everyone who came to the Halloween Party, and a big thanks to Japanese Club for providing both the Movies and the Karaoke! The photos of the cosplay participants are now up on the forum, where you’ll find the winning entrant, Gordon Ream, who sported an excellent White Rabbit costume. He got $25 towards Hastings; If you see him, ask what he spent the dough on.
The poll for next week is up! You’ll have to log in to vote your prefrence, though. You can register and log in through the Meta column on the left. The rest of the poll stuff will remain constant, and it’ll close as usual on midnight of Thursday, so be sure to register if you’ve yet to, and vote [for anime] if you haven’t.
Couple other things. We’ll have an office computer with which to store anime for our library by next week, and we still need donations for the club collection, so if you have something you’d wish to donate, please let me know! Also, we’ll be screening a feature-length anime film in the theatre later this month, and we need need need suggestions on what to show. So please, use the Suggest an Anime form on the right and let us know what you’d like to see!
