Luigi Was Never Heard From Again

Brawl Tournament! Tomorrow (Saturday)! Are you pumped? We’ll begin preparation at 12:00 noon, so if you’re planning on providing a Wii set-up, helping to get things ready, or looking for some friendly matches, appear then-abouts and we’ll accommodate as best we can. And if you’d like to volunteer full- or close to full-time in the tournament, we’re doing a pre-tourney meeting Friday (Today) at 4:00pm in the Lobo Lair (located in the SUB), and briefing will take place then and there.

And one last-minute update pertaining to the tournament: the prizes (for the top 3) will be Gift Cards to Gamestop. The value placed on each will depend on the number of entrants, so a big turnout could mean quite the prize pot – Tell your friends!

In other news, we now have a Myspace group, in addition to our Facebook! So join UNM Anime Club and invite your buddies! And just to whet your appetite for the future, we have membership cards, t-shirts, cosplay, theatre screenings, a Halloween(-esque) party, and the grand Library debut all in the works! There’s also an interesting topic of note brewing in the forums, definitely take a look at it if you’re an artist!
