Scythe Works (08/30/08)

After a week of (excessive) promotion, we’re finally on the brink of our first meeting of the Fall semester! We’ll have for you this Saturday: anime, video games, food, and – of course – lots’a fun! Anyways, I hope you guys are as geared up as I am, ’cause this rig’s ready to rumble. Are you?

For those in the unknow, our meeting will be this Saturday, August 30th, starting at 2:00pm in Lobo A/B. That’s on the third floor of the Student Union Building – just listen for the noise! And for those in the curious, the jump’ll give you the full itinerary; hit it for our anime schedule!!

• 2:00pm – Club is a go! Show up to meet and greet the club members and officers! We’ll have Anime Music Videos in the screening room, as well as Rock Band, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Soul Calibur, and other games in the video game room (Fiesta A/B). Don’t forget to bring a buddy!
• 3:00pm – Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu Episodes 1 and 2
• 3:45pm – Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Episodes 1 and 2
• 4:30pm - Intermission! Swap anime or manga! Showcase your artwork! Show off your cosplay! Head over to the game room and play or watch some video games! We’ll have a camera ready for photo ops, and a sign up sheet for those interested in OtakuMex next week.
• 5:30pm - Dennou Coil Episodes 1 and 2
• 6:15pm - Soul Eater Episodes 1 and 2
• 7:00pm – PIZZA! Bring your appetites, ’cause we’ll have soda and pizza pie, ready for your consumption. And what better to dine to, than the infernal stylings of AMV Hell 4? Ah, we’d do Leonidas proud…
