No club this Saturday due to study time, but we will be back in August. I hope everyone enjoyed our anime, games, and events this semester and we here at the anime club would like to wish everyone the best of luck on finals! We will be planning some even greater events for the fall so keep us in your thoughts as you return! Have a safe and relaxing summer vacation everyone, you’ve earned it!
Weather permitting, we will be hosting an outdoor anime club meeting this Saturday at 4:30 PM at the Duck Pond! Bring your outdoor activities and sunscreen! We will also be providing hot dogs, chips, and soft drinks, but quantities are limited so show up on time! You are also welcome to bring your own food for the picnic.
In other news, this is our last meeting for the semester since final exams are dreadfully looming upon us. Also, as a reminder to those members registered for our Fanime 2013 trip, the full remaining payment is due this Saturday. Hope to see you there!
We want to be the very best, that no club ever was. To watch them is our real test, to riff them is our cause! Yes my fellow people, this Saturday the twentieth of the year twenty thirteen, is Pokemon day. It is the day to watch a calibrate the craze known as Pocket Monsters. This Saturday, We will be showing 3 Pokemon movies, each featuring a wide showcase of Pokemon from all generations of the franchise.
The movies will be decided soon. Make sure you not only come to watch, but to play as well. That’s right we will have a wide verity of Pokemon game that we all cane enjoy. We will have Pokemon stadium both 1 and 2, as well as battle revolution. Make sure you bring your Pokemon games from Red, to Pearl. The games well will have are compatible to your the Gameboy and DS games. This means you can fight with your own Pokemon team and fight other players teams as well on the big screen.
Also bring your Pokemon TCG cards so you can trade, and battle with your card decks. If it’s anything to do with Pokemon bring it!
Also a reminder that 4/27/2013 is the LAST DAY FOR FANIME PAYMENTS, if you want to go on the trip be sure to come down and sign up. The last day of club for the semester, that day will be our field day we we otakus brave the heat and have some fun in the park. More on that next week though.

It is movie day again and we will be showing a couple great films! One of which is revealed above, the other is a surprise but is also a great film filled with sci-fi, action, romance, #yolo, drama, and of course, beautiful artwork! Also, here are a couple reminders:
1) This weekend is also Sabaku Con and thus we expect some members may wish to go to the convention instead. Because of this, we will not be supporting a game room this Saturday. Full-weekend tickets to Sabaku Con are $40 and can be purchased through their website: sabakucon.com
2) Fanime full trip payments are due soon, April 27th, so please be aware of that deadline if you have already registered for our trip.

Bring your tinfoil hats because it’s science fiction day! We will be screening a variety of favorites from the cyberpunk classics to the time-travelling mind-bending newly-released shows. Other announcements include: Saturday April 6th 2013 is the LAST day to sign up for the Fanime 2013 trip! We are in need of vehicles more than ever this year and so we will be offering a $75.00 discount (previously $50.00) to those who provide a vehicle for the trip. This makes the discounted price only $100.00 for a full convention trip (more details at the end of this blog). The list of anime is found after the following text discontinuity:

As the topic suggests, it is that time of year again and we will not be hosting club meetings due to the SUB being closed for the week. We will be begin taking registrations for our FanimeCon 2013 trip soon after the break, so start saving your money! We will have our next meeting in the SUB on March 23rd.
